You can pan around and zoom the map by using the Pan/Zoom tool. Select this tool by clicking Pan/Zoom in the map tool bar.

With this tool activated, you can pan the map by clicking and dragging it, or you can zoom quickly by using your mouse scroll wheel.

There are also several quick zoom tools:

  • Quick Zoom to Initial Extent: reset the map to the default zoom level
  • Quick Zoom to Product Extent: see the whole area for which product data is available
  • Quick Zoom to Selection Extent: zoom to your selected area(s)

Use these by clicking the arrow next to Pan/Zoom in the map tool bar.

Click any of the tools to use them.
